Ground hog day!

Groundhog Day! What is the point really? I mean the little bastard comes out of his hole sees his shadow and what we have a longer winter? Or he comes out sees no shadow and bam spring is around the corner. Well I for one think that this is all a crock of shit. I heard on the Radio today that the hog is really only looking for some poontang and that is the real reason that he comes out of his hole on feb 2nd. What do you think? Can a little animal reelly predict the weather?
